Thermostats continually ensure an exact temperature even if water is dispersed from several valves in numerous places at once. In order to achieve this, a valve continually regulates the perfect mix of hot and cold water and thus maintains the desired temperature to within 1º Fahrenheit. This technology prevents temperature shocks such as scalds and acts as a safety feature for carefree showering and bathing. The energy-efficient technology sets the flow of hot water as quickly as possible, thus minimizing water waste.

One such application is the 3/4” Grohtherm™ “high flow” valve, which provides sufficient water for two shower heads simultaneously while automatically maintaining the correct water temperature at each.
