Three signature design elements – ring, lozenge, 7º – make up our visual DNA. This unique design language is our blueprint for realizing award-winning designs and enables consumers to instantly recognize a GROHE product.
Recurrent use of these elements unites different product types and facilitates design coordination across all touch points in the bathroom.
Ring
Rings appear across several of our ranges and are used to highlight an area of purpose. Throughout our Veris range, rings give rise to the cylindrical bases of faucet bodies. On our Rainshower® Solo hand shower, a circular string of chrome surrounds the spray plate, celebrating its function.
Lozenge
A softer take on the hard corners of a rectangle, lozenge shapes visually interpret the GROHE Sensual Minimalism philosophy – humanizing the core values of Minimalism and inviting interaction. From the shape of faucet spouts and lever handles to our Rainshower® Eco hand shower and Arena Cosmopolitan flush actuation plate – the lozenge broadens the appeal of minimalist design.
7º
Seven degrees is the angle at which the handles and spouts in several of our faucet collections are pitched. Research has led us to discover that this subtle incline enhances usability and encourages interaction with our products.
Attention to user comfort is key to realizing sustainable designs. It encourages our customers to form relationships with their products, thereby keeping them longer.
